A delicately carved ballerina turns, reflected in small star-shaped mirrors, to the tune of Carl Maria Von Weber’s “Invitation to the Dance”. The melody can last for up to 2 minutes 30 seconds. Under the lid there is a velvet lined compartment for larger jewellery and a small compartment for storing rings, earrings or similar small things.
